Become part of the XLA team supporting the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) located in College Park, MD. We are looking for a Cybersecurity Subject Matter Expert (SME) with an active Top Secret Clearance who will possess a broad knowledge of the domain including network security, system security, vulnerability scanning, web-based application scanning, risk assessments, security engineering, etc. Experience configuring, managing and running Security Operation Center (SOC) type tools (e.g., Tenable Continuous View, FireEye Threat Management System, Snort, etc.). SME will support a Federal Civilian Agency with vulnerability management and incident response work. The position involves working in a small focused team that follows the Federal Continuous Monitoring strategy for prioritization of resources and providing support that provides the greatest impact with limited resources. Team members have a large set of cross-functional abilities to support all aspects of Cyber Security.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and assessments against agency information systems, web applications and web services
- Conduct assigned activities within the security Incident response and handling lifecycle. These activities could include: detection, triage, analysis, containment, recovery and reporting.
- Coordinate response, triage and recovery activities for security events affecting the agency’s information assets
- Assist with expanding and maturing existing vulnerability management and incident response processes and activities.
- Coordinate with system owners and IT operations to remediate and resolve issues discovered during security scans, system assessments, system audits, and cyber security investigations.
- Conduct security assessments and testing for agency’s different cloud platform types (i.e., IaaS, SaaS, PaaS)
- Conduct on-demand scans, assessments, and audits to assess the cyber security posture of the various on-premises and cloud-based NARA information systems.
- Provide security engineering reviews and recommendations to agency System Owners and Information System Security Officers
- Develop and implement technical solutions to help mitigate security vulnerabilities
- Analyze network and host-based security logs to identify potential security threats
- Develop/review documentation for Security Operations procedures
Information systems security officers (ISSO) research, develop, implement, test and review TSA’s information security in order to protect information and prevent unauthorized access. ISSO will inform users about security measures, explain potential threats, install software, implement security measures and monitor networks. The ISSO will plan, implement, upgrade, and monitor security measures for the protection of computer networks and information. They may also ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure. ISSO will respond to computer security breaches and viruses.

- Ensure that management, operational, and technical controls for securing either National Security Systems or SBU level Information Systems are in place and are followed. This includes ensuring that appropriate steps are taken to implement information security requirements for IT systems throughout their life cycle. Conduct Security Authorization (SA) activities in accordance with NIST 800.37 standards. All S&A deliverables must meet the metrics in the DHS Information Security Performance Plan.
- Report IT Security events/incidents in the time prescribed by DHS 4300 Sensitive Systems Policy Directive depending on the severity of the incident.
- Respond to Information Security Vulnerability Management (ISVM) notifications and ensure all systems under their purview are in compliance with the ISVM by the date prescribed by DHS.
XLA is looking for an Automation Lead work onsite at a federal agency in Washington, D.C.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Management with support for the training planning process, to include the development of the Integrated Project Plan in communication activities, problem resolution and facilitation of AMD status meetings. In addition, provide management consultation in areas such as cross-AMD operational planning and performance measures development related to technology solutions and associated risk management, oversight of delivery, and execution of SOW task areas
- The Contractor shall provide SharePoint/ServiceNow configuration management and development to fully implement new technical solutions for AMD ICE Asset Management issues and capture operational, financial and program data analyses.
- Provide system support (SharePoint, ServiceNow, Project Server, and supporting solutions)
- Capture and translate complex technical requirements into functional documents and solutions
- Perform data migration across multiple platforms to capture complex technical requirements
- Provide file storage and record location, maintenance, and update support via SharePoint or alternative storage that best meet file/record storage and retention requirements as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The Automation Analyst shall provide SharePoint/ServiceNow configuration management and development to fully implement new technical solutions for AMD ICE Asset Management issues and capture operational, financial and program data analyses.

XLA is looking for a Senior Business SME work onsite at a federal agency in Washington, D.C.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- The Senior Business Subject Matter Expert is responsible for management and performance of all work under this Task Order. The Senior Business Subject Matter Expert shall be the primary point of contact for the Contracting Officer (CO) and designated Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
- Provide ICE Management with support for the training planning process, to include the development of the Integrated Project Plan in communication activities, problem resolution and facilitation of AMD status meetings. In addition, provide management consultation in areas such as cross-AMD operational planning and performance measures development related to technology solutions and associated risk management, oversight of delivery, and execution of SOW task areas.
- Provide subject matter expertise in support of the activities that AMD is responsible for in personal property management, and mail and print administrative operations.
- Create initiatives and opportunities for cost savings in terms of reduced administrative burden to labor intensive areas of property management.
- Provide solutions and develop new tools related to achieving process improvement and automation.
- Ensure completion of initial requirements and update with status on weekly or as-needed basis.
- Familiar utilizing commercial off the shelf software and applications such as Tableau, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate.
- Assist with revisions and edits to Property and Mail and Print instructions, guides, operating procedures, and other aides as needed. This includes updates to guides and instructions on how to use various tools developed or changes in processes to existing operations.
- Provide reporting and analytic support as requested by Section Chiefs/Team Leads and Unit Chiefs to a variety of recurring and occasional rapid turnaround data calls that are difficult to plan for.
- Assist the AMD in developing the capability to establish multi-dimensional analyses that identify relationships and trends not previously understood to help surface potential risks as well as new opportunities for cost recovery and avoidance. Provide the AMD with monthly analysis reports on areas of improvement.
- Oversee contractor staff and assist as needed with all tasks associated with property management and the ICE Annual Physical inventory.

XLA is looking for a Data Analytics Lead to work onsite at a federal agency in Washington, D.C.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create initiatives and opportunities for cost savings in terms of reduced administrative burden to labor intensive areas of property management.
- Provide solutions and develop new tools related to achieving process improvement and automation and provide reporting and analytic support as requested by Section Chiefs/Team Leads and Unit Chiefs to a variety of recurring and occasional rapid turnaround data calls that are difficult to plan for.
- Familiar utilizing commercial off the shelf software and applications such as Tableau, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate.
- The AMD requires data analytics expertise on hand with an in depth understanding of ICE data, systems, and operations to quickly facilitate the response to these requests.
- Provide training to AMD staff as requested by management on these reporting and analytic support tools and data calls.
- Most reporting and data analyses occurs on a recurring basis from weekly, monthly, quarterly, and or annual basis.
- Time sensitive or ad hoc reports occur on occasion and mostly from existing tools/data.
- Assist the AMD in developing the capability to establish multi-dimensional analyses that identify relationships and trends not previously understood to help surface potential risks as well as new opportunities for cost recovery and avoidance. Provide the AMD with monthly analysis reports on areas of improvement.
- Develop other tools as needed on SharePoint or alternative platforms to be able to more effectively perform required tasks without consistent technical issues resulting from OCIO IT updates.
