Position Description

Network Engineer will:

  • Provide O&M support for the OMC NIPRNET, SIPRNET, JWICS Network Infrastructure located in NSGB, and the Special Access System Network Infrastructure located in both the NCR and NSGB.
  • Provide engineering and installation (E&I) support for inside/outside plant LAN wiring & fiber optic cable terminations throughout OMC facilities in NSGB.
  • Provide detailed engineering implementation plans, diagrams, List of Materials, and project schedule in support of E&I efforts. The government will provide necessary materials and surge staffing to support implementation projects that exceed established firm-fixed price (FFP) mission support levels as proposed.
  • Maintain as-built cabling/fiber documentation and diagrams for OMC Network infrastructure.
  • Configure and manage network encryption devices.
  • Manage assigned IP address allocations.
  • Coordinate with JSP/DISA and other Contractor personnel to provide support for WAN optimization and redundancy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of DoD Network Engineering Experience

  • 7+ years of experience delivering tasks of a similar size/scope

Required Certifications:

 

At least one of the following DoD 8570.01M certifications:

  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) Continuing Education (CE),
  • International Information Systems Security Certifications Consortium (ISC)2 Certified

    Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

AND Required Computing Environment Certification listed below:

  • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Enterprise

Security:

  • TOP SECRET w/ SCI Eligible security clearance
