Senior Acquisition Analyst

XLA is looking for a Senior Acquisition Analyst (SAA) to support a federal agency located in College Park, MD. This is a Hybrid role and is contigent upon contract award.

The SAA will have a minimum of eight (8) years of experience in all aspects of Federal Government acquisition and program support including extensive experience in: 

• Drafting Federal Government acquisition procedures, and policy;
• Performing agency-wide acquisition management reviews and analysis;
• Preparing requirement documents such as performance-based work statements, SOWs, SOOs, etc.;
• Supporting interdisciplinary functional acquisition teams;
• Preparing pre-award and award documentation for all types of acquisitions with a strong emphasis on service contracting and information technology acquisitions;
• Supporting source selections and drafting source selection documents; and
• Supporting agency level technical and contract management.

The SAA shall have a bachelor’s degree or higher.

Knowledge and Skills: 

• Extensive knowledge in all aspects of Federal Government acquisition processes and procedures.
• Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
• Strong ability to work with interdisciplinary functional acquisition teams.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with PRISM is desired. 

Security Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance which means US citizenship is required.
