Position Description


XLA is looking for an Office Coordinator to join our client’s team on a contract-to-hire basis. The individual will sit on-site in San Diego, CA. This position pays $17.25/hour.


The Office Coordinator will be responsible for all office functions to include:

  • Assist customers by providing individualized attention, accurate information, efficient service and timely follow up
  • Answer general inquiries and assist in resolution of issues/concerns or provide direction to appropriate resource
  • Greet and direct employees and visitors
  • Stock and maintain appearance of general use areas
  • Provide support and/or execute activities related to in-site or off-site meetings and events
  • Provide contributions to the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly reports as requested
  • Provide office administrative duties
  • Conduct regular checks of the office environment and report any areas requiring maintenance or attention
  • Support with security and issuing new badges
  • Assistance with invoicing, budgeting, and other financial documents
  • Miscellaneous duties as required


  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Superior communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to learn new computer programs
