Position Description

XLA is looking for a Financial Reviewer Analyst to support a federal agency located in Washington, DC.  The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting/bookkeeping experience in the federal space. Candidate will have demonstrated ability to review entries and ensure transactions match supporting documents.  Ability to analyze, prepare and enter corrections as needed. Ability to research and trace transactions in various financial or accounting systems. Ability to download data to spreadsheets and perform analysis based on inquiries.  Will have professional oral and written communications skills to respond to voice messages and e-mails. Have the ability to work in the Treasury systems. Possess the ability to work efficiently in Excel (Pivot tables, create formulas) via a standard hard copy document. Must be able to reconcile documents to financial reports.  Working knowledge of GTAS, FBwT, IPAC and CARS.

 

Requirements

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Above average data entry skills
  • Shall have experience analyzing data and transactions for accuracy and compliance with rules and regulations
  • Ability to analyze, prepare and enter corrections as needed
  • Must be able to research and trace transactions in various financial or accounting systems
  • Advanced level experience with Excel, with ability to create pivot tables and create formulas 
  • Must have ability to reconcile documents to financial reports
  • Ability to work with and out of multiple systems simultaneously
  • Must be able to research and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Candidate will have a working knowledge of GTAS, FBwT, IPAC and CARS
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance
