This individual must possess the expertise and capability to manage multiple teams, knowledge of project management best practices, lead client communications and stakeholder management, and implement a quality management system (QMS) that allows the team to evolve into a more efficient and robust component of the client program.

The APM will lead a team of contractors supporting the Personnel Security Unit (PSU) for an agency within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). • Assessing the current QMS used to monitor performance of the team beginning with security packet intake through notification of EODs.
  • Leading the development of a more comprehensive QMS to include survey methods, key performance indicators, criteria, tools and templates.
  • Other improvement initiatives may include the development of standard operating procedures, working in close professional partnership with the PSU Federal staff to optimize support and jointly overcome the challenges inherent in the context of this mission.
