Position Description

XLA is looking for a Mid-Level Requirements Analyst to work onsite at a federal agency in Washington, D.C. 

 

  • Participate with business users, business analyst team, and project team and supporting the requirements review and validation activities
  • Review and provide comments on requirements artifacts in support of the review and validation, including, but not limited to, Concept of Operations, Stakeholder Requirements, Systems Requirements, Use Cases, and Requirements Prioritization Worksheet
  • Able to resolve moderately complex requirements conflicts through effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Skilled at organizing and translating information into clear written documentation.
  • Able to present options and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Experience with requirements management and analysis tools.
  • Significant experience as an RA on an IT contract for a Federal agency.
  • Experience with the quality assessment of business analysis work products against standards.
  • Foundational concepts of testing and testing practices throughout software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Some experience and understanding of testing procedures and performance tools
  • Experience with tools such as Selenium, JMeter, and JIRA
  • Understanding of CPIC is a plus

Requirements:

 

  • Five (5) years or more of relevant hands-on experience in a Requirements Analyst (RA) role.
  • Two (2) years or more experience running requirements elicitation meetings.
  • At least an Intermediate level of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
