  • Position Description

    XLA is looking for a HelpDesk Support Specialist to support our government customer. The job site is in Arlington, VA, close to restaurants, shops, and public transportation.

     

    Here’s what you will be doing:

     

    Will provide support for all Federal Acquisition (FA) systems (Acquisition, Relocation, Transit Subsidy, Purchase Card). Other Support includes:

    • Develops and deploys system training
    • Develops and maintains system and process documentation  
    • Develops and maintains user documentation
    • Hotline user support
    • Develops and maintains system metrics and reports
    • Executes system/data audits
    • Tests version releases and upgrades
    • Executes system data pulls and data analysis/mining tasks
    • Automates manual processes with applications including,but not limited to: SQL, SharePoint, InfoPath, Captivate, Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Pro, UFMS (Momentum)
    • Researches and learns new technology tools and applications to improve processes in FA and/or DEA.

    Full life-cycle support for the Financial Management Division's (CFO) Intranet and team sites. Sample of Systems/Applications include:

    • JPMorgan (Pcard)
    • FPDS-NG
    • UFMS (Momentum)
    • Contract Portfolio (FIRST Application)
    • FedBizOps
    • SAM
    • CPARS

    Requirements

    • Six (6) years of relevant work experience
    • Comfortable with technology
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to plan and execute work independently
    • Team player, well organized, self-motivated, and a quick learner 
    • Good analytical skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively
    • Resolving issues and developing resolution recommendations 
    • Experience with SQL
    • Proficient in at least one of the following:
      • User helpdesk experience
      • Broad technical skills (SharePoint, Excel, Microsoft Office, etc.)

    Education Requirement:

    Highschool Diploma and 10 years of experience;

    Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience; or

    Master's Degree and 4 years of experience

     

    Clearance Requirement:

    Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.
